Master of Integrated Water Management, International WaterCentre’s IWC, Australia

The program takes a multi-disciplinary, whole-of-water cycle approach. It is a co-badged and co-taught degree by The University of Queensland, Griffith University, Monash University and The University of Western Australia. The program commences February 2011. The objective for the second edition of the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Disaster Risk Reduction (CDRR 2010) is to propose a continuing education course to professionals and specialists from both Southern and Northern countries who already have significant experience in disaster risk reduction or a connected field such as climate change adaptation or development. PhD Fellowship in Management of Water-Borne Diseases and Health

The Department of Mathematical Sciences and Technology (IMT) is currently inviting applications for a 3-year PhD Fellowship in Water-Borne Diseases and Health within the project “Link between Diarrhea and Dengue: Fecal contamination and dengue mosquito production in household water containers in Southeast Asia”. The PhD dissertation is expected to be based on both fieldwork and laboratory work at collaborating institutes in Thailand and Laos, as well as at the home institution.
