Senior Researcher and Programme Coordinator, Knowledge and Capacity Development in the Water Sector, The Netherlands
The researcher/programme coordinator will be appointed for a period of two years. He/she will have the double function, each for about half of the time allocation, to (i) work with the Head of the KCD Core in coordinating and further developing the KCD programme at UNESCO-IHE, and (ii) conduct studies on the economic and social rationale of KCD as driver of international cooperation and sustainable economic development. Fellowship on Adaptive Governance, University of Greifswald, Germany
The socio-ecological research group GETIDOS is offering a three-month fellowship in Greifswald, Germany, for collaboration on a case study in Ecuador. Applicants should have a degree in nature conservation, environmental sciences, social sciences with focus on environmental issues or related fields, and be proficient in Spanish and familiar with the country. Following the three-month research stay in Greifswald starting from Oct 2010, a three- to four-week field trip to Ecuador is envisaged. The deadline for applications is 30 August 2010. Read more
