Climate Change, Water Quality of Swedish Lakes and the Consequences for the European Framework Directive

During a longer workshop in May, researchers gather at the Erken Laboratory, Uppsala University Field Station to progress research and water management tools. Apart from their state-of-the-art research, they will during this seminar even present a concrete management tool where water mangers can directly see if the lake in question may change the water quality status according to the European Water Framework Directive (WFD).
Further, new climate scenarios, the effects of climate on lakes in the past and future (by model projections) are presented and results will be evaluated in a panel discussion involving the audience.
